Tried SkyDemon using a Navigon 4.3" in the air for the first time on Sunday. The purple track line appear when you plot your route. Then as you fly the Track line is rendered for a second and then appears to be over written by the map features.

As the aircraft moves and the map Re:renders the line is drawn fully again. Only to be over written once again within a second or so. The over write isn't total. Bits of the line, that are not over written (perhpas 10% of the track) can still be seen. Other than that SkyDemon works perfectly.

Would appreciate any advise. SkyDemon is great, and I hope it's possible to fix this issue.

Thanks!!

Fasrobinj, you're not imagining it Smile

My Navigo 4.3" is doing exactly the same. No problems with previous versions, just V 1.0.

Hopefully Tim will sort it out with the next release. (No Map Font change either?)

Regards,

Max.

What's the best way for me to reproduce this? (I haven't seen it). Plot a route then fly across or along it?

Oh, and are you using map following? And if so, north or heading up?

Tim. Using north up, and route following.

The route line is drawn and then it disappears, except for odd bits here and there. Doesn't seem to make a difference if you are following the route or not. As the aircraft moves across the map, the display re renders to update. For a second the entire route is visible again. But then it vanishes as ground features appear to over write it.

Hope that helps, Thanks for all your hard work. SkyDemond is great.
