Hello,
would it be feasible to integrate basic traffic information (without the use of 3rd party devices), by displaying live traffic from flightradar24 on the Skydemon map while navigating? This would enable every user with a mobile network connection to at least see ADS-B and MLAT traffic. I imagine this would involve some negotiation with Flightradar24, but I suppose many users would be very interested in such a function?

I think FR24 data is not sufficiently reliable. I've seen instances of C150's with an indicated ground speed of 450kts and one instance of a Eurofox at an indicated altitude of 18,000ft. There are also blind spots in their coverage. Mode S equipped aircraft I know to be in the air often do not show up in certain locations. Also, displayed aircraft often disappear and then re-appear sometime later in a different location. It's not the sort of traffic data that I would want to rely on.

It seems more reliable than some FLARM systems I know, and even though a certain percentage of traffic might be displayed with false information or position, it is definitely better than nothing in my opinion. I am aware, that this will neither replace looking out for traffic nor be a real alternative to system like a TRX1500 with ADS-B in/ out or TCAS.

This has been discussed in different shades of grey already.
1. quality of FR24 data is not sufficient
2. quite some aircraft opt'ed-out and suppress broadcast
3. mobile net is often not sufficient
4. dual data streams over wifi and mobile are device dependent
5. legal status of FR24 in different countries is complicated
6. GDPDR is an issue for re-broadcasting legally rather difficult data
7. no real need for the function, simply use a browser
much effort, little benefit

I totally agree!!
FR24 allures you in a dangerous and inaccurate safety cushion!
