Just installed Mac OS Catalina. The wineskin doesn't work anymore. Is there a workaround for this?

Just installed Mac OS Catalina. The wineskin doesn't work anymore. Is there a workaround for this?

Did you try it instead of the old wineskin version with the winebottler version of which we are talking about all the time here lately? Or - even better - have you ever tried to compile your own winebottler package under Catalina, as described here in this thread (should be done the same way as in High Sierra)

I can not say anything about Catalina because I stayed at High Sierra on my Macs for many good reasons. SD is running reliably. And obviously also on Mojave. But as I said, on from high Sierra my support unfortunately has to end indefinitely.

Regards, Peter

A web search revealed that it has to do with the initiation file of the wineskin application running in 32bit. Catalina is 64bit. Solutions are being developed but not ready yet.

SkyDemon now working with Crossover 19.0 on OS X 10.15.2 (Catalina).
Windows 10 bottle. Need to install Microsoft.Net 4.7.2 from within program and then install Skydemon (give permission in OS X system pref Security to allow apps downloaded from identified developers)

Hi Guys,

I have downloaded the latest update of Skydemon, and it seems that I now cannot get access to my waypoints. Keep getting the following message

I am running MacOS High Sierra.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Jon

Hi rk19,
Can you or someone else please confirm SkyDemon works with Crossover v19 and OSX version?? (I'm on Mojave)??

The Crossover product page is not an endorsement as it says "installs but won't run"
