Would be great to be able to review track log path over Aerial photography, right now it’s not there when you change map mode.

(Incidentally would be useful to have option to see airspace / ATZ etc on aerial photography too)

Android and iOS.

Have you tried the option to view your track logs in Google Earth? This overlays them on aerial imagery and also in 3D, with a far richer array of options than we could reasonably build into SkyDemon itself.

Yes and it’s good, but these days most of the time I’m on a tablet. Reviewing in SkyDemon is good enough for my needs, it’s just a shame that when you go to aerial photography the track isn’t shown.

Google Earth is available as an iPad app. Do they not do an Android version?

Didn't know that.

Just figured if you're displaying the track over the SkyDemon map, why not just leave it there when changing to aerial photography? Presumably it's trivial since there are already vector display lines like circuit patterns etc on the aerial page. A lot less hassle than running two apps for a quick review. IMO :;

We could build such a feature in theory, but it's even fewer touches on your screen to open your track log in the Google Earth app.

Hello,

Coming back on this feature request. While you can open the track in Google Earth you miss all the aeronautical information.
Such feature would be great to assess how correct you flew the circuit or how you actually flew vs your planned route.
I think this as added value which can not be provided via Google Earth.

Regarding the circuit. I have another suggestion. Would it be possibe to have access to aerial photography while in flight ?
The idea is that it is much easier to assess where you have to turn when you know on what ground feature you should look for.
This would require to load the aerial photography of your departure and arrival aerodrome of your route.
I think this would be great....
