I would like to suggest a central place within SD where all relevant downloads would be consolidated. Basically one dashboard where country charts, AIP files and approach charts (for paid subscriptions) would be centrally managed and downloaded / updated.

This would allow quick updates for all documents from one central place. And avoids visting multiple places within SD. Potentially large updates for all files from various categories can be triggered from one screen.

Apologize if the topic has been discussed before; but I could not find anything in search.

There are really only two types of downloads in SkyDemon: charts and PDF documents. I don't necessarily see the benefit in merging the two into one conceptual screen; are you aware of the new(ish) ability to automatically download all PDFs necessary for your route in the background?

Thanks Tim. I know about the automatic updates of PDFs.
Stiill my feeling is that I do run constant updates on multiple devices incl. the PC version.
But I will try to make use of the automatc updating of PDFs; and see if it works for me.
