Getting a warning that aircraft is outside limits but the AUW is within limits. Not limited to one aircraft profile. Note, all values are integers, and CG envelope values taken direct from respective RFMs.

iOS 12.1, SD 3.10.5.

Two examples below.

Aircraft A

Aircraft B

Looks like you're right at the edge of the envelope. Can you describe the circumstances in which you're ending up in this situation and this has become an issue for you?

Yes that's correct. There are many occasions where I/we need to use up the entire allowable weight to achieve an operational requirement even if that means operating at the maximum allowed limit or on the edge of the envelope, we understand this and even acknowledge this in our risk assessments for AOC flights. This is quite normal. So if the RFM Maximum Takeoff Mass is say 2850kg, the RFM allows an All Up Mass of 2850kg and this is within limits - even though it's on the limit, it's not outside limits as the warning suggests.

The issue is, it shouldn't raise a warning when on the limit, only if exceeded.

Also, some operators use SD for W&B and therefore we have to save/print the briefing pack for documentary evidence. This warning is shown in the briefing pack and can cause a bit of a fuss during subsequent audits - this can be justified if the AUM is on the horizontal part of the CG envelope where the MTOM is obvious, however on the sloping parts of the CG envelope its a bit more difficult.

Hope this helps.

Could you contact your corporate licensing representative at SkyDemon to raise this? Anything to do with corporate operations we like to keep separate and develop under that specific license type.

Nope, because I don't have a corporate license and this has nothing to do with licensing.

Do you not consider this to be an issue even under a personal subscription? So in future, if someone finds a bug, are you going to come back with the same response about licensing?

It all depends who's running into it. If it's an issue that affects corporate users only, who are running very close to the wind in terms of tolerances, then that has to go through corporate licensing in order to arrive at a development cost and schedule.
