I have created many custom airstrips etc over the years without problem and I can see how to create obstructions, airspace etc.

B‌UT I cannot see how to create mapping data for my strip (taxiways, parking, buildings etc). Please could someone give me a pointer to get started.‌

Sorry, there are no public tools for creating such data in SkyDemon.

I‌ see that many others do this, how do I go about it with non public tools? Or do you do it all, even minor strips?
I‌ am reasonably competent with computers, I write in C, assembler etc and contribute to OpenStreetMap etc

Those others are maintained by our internal team of mapping people here at SkyDemon. If you want your strip mapped and added to SkyDemon charts, simply contact us through support and we'll get it done.
