The 8.33 change appears to have come as a surprise to the authorities which publish the information. We are doing what we can but we (any everyone really) do rely on them to publish correct and definitive information.

Airfi‌elds whose data is not published in an AIP are more difficult but we are receiving a steady stream of notifications and will probably publish interim chart updates as we bulk-update frequencies.‌

I think a few may have already slipped through the net.

Thursday's AIS NATS email notification listed a few updates, one being Oxford VDF 133.425 to 133.430 effective 05/01/2018. However, the AIP plates/docs show no changes to this frequency and I can't find any NOTAMs for it either.

The next few months are going to be a bit messy.

The AIP entry for Farnborough has been half updated: the airfield diagram is correct, but textual information is still showing the old frequency. I would guess that SkyDemon takes its data from one of the places that the authorities haven't yet updated, probably in line with the AIRAC cycle.

Let's‌‌ hope the process gets a bit slicker in the coming months, and that NOYAMs are issued where appropriate, as they have been in this case.

During 2018, GA airfields in the UK will be moving from 25KHz to 8.33KHz frequencies.    Farnborough airfield (EGLF) changed its tower frequency during January from 122.500 to 122.780.  The latest AIP shows the new Tower frequency (although the ATIS frequency is wrong!) yet SkyDemon still shows the old (25KHz) frequencies in the PLOG etc.  How will the new frequencies be captured by the SD team?
