I‌'m evaluating SkyDemon for a virtual VFR flying. The feature I am missing is to add QDR/QDM and distance measurements to VORs on each waypoint. Even when flying VFR, this allows me to confirm that I'm on the correct waypoint.

Correct. SkyDemon is primarily used as a GPS navigation tool and while it will give you RNav vectors in the PLOG, and tell you your bearing to/from a VOR in real time during flight (if enabled) it is a forwards-looking tool and isn't really intended as an aid to VOR-to-VOR navigation.
