My log shows my arrivals/departure to/from Fowlmere aerodrome which is three miles from my private strip. My private strip is specified on my system as Home. Can i change the way this is reported please

How have you set up your private strip?

You may wish to create it as an actual airfield within SkyDemon, using the Data Creator tool on a PC. That way, SkyDemon will recognise it as an aerodrome for the purposes of logging your takeoff and landing. If it's close to a well-defined aerodrome but only defined itself as a user waypoint (I assume this is how you have it working at the moment) then SkyDemon may pick the aerodrome instead. ‌‌
