Hi,

I understand that SD does not support USA charts.

Still I was wondering, as the Sectionals/TACs seem public, whether they would eventually be supported.

That or allowing user-input maps/scale so SD could display as needed.

I do like the SD maps but I look at the sectionals while flying so that would be a great plus.

Regards,
Philippe

SD does not implement images of other charts at all. Rather, it generates its own charts on the fly (no pun intended..well...) from raw data stored in a database. If by "supporting sectional charts" you mean show them like, e.g., ForeFlight, then that is not possible.

We have no plans to integrate static enroute charts from third parties at this time. We believe this would be a retrograde step. The USA is not really our target market and while we provide vector charts generated from free FAA data, they are not as rich as our European charts.

Yes; through the issues I face I unfortunately feel that, while this product is great, I made the wrong choice.

Again not a complaint about what you have done which seems to neatly fit your market target.

Philippe
