Hi,
New user here, so may well have missed something obvious.

I can create routes and save them to cloud on the PC and then open them on the tablet. No problem.  But I am unable to save them locally on the tablet. I can open the Save As dialogue and give it a name, but the instructions then say to click Done. But I don't have a 'Done'. No sign of it - and anything I do click closes the dialogue without saving the route. (Clicking the Return button, bottom right, doesn't do anything.)

Any help much appreciated.

Update:

Went through the whole uninstall thing again, this time including  a reboot in between. No change.

But - I have just discovered that I can save locally, but only in landscape: in landscape I get a text enter screen with a DONE button when clicking in the name box.  In portrait this doesn't happen and I have this 'can't save route' issue.

So an easy workaround  (but maybe something that is fixable in an update?).

It sounds to me like a device specific issue.

Hi Ralph,
So the "keyboard" changes format between portrait and landscape modes? If so then, as previously mentioned, this is most likely a device specific issue. Perhaps there is a setting within your tablet which may change the depiction/format of the keyboard?

On an android device, you have a choice of installing different keyboard apps. maybe the one that came with your device was not programmed correctly and uses something funny for the return key in portrait mode. you can install other keyboard apps from the play store. try another app and see if that helps if rotating the tablet is not acceptable as a solution to this problem.

try the "google keyboard" from google, if you see that in your play store. that should be the "original" keyboard google is using on their devices (at least that's whats installed on my nexus)
