Charts on Android devices show two masts close to Bourton-on-the-Water, both of which exist in reality. However, neither is shown on the PC version of the chart (for that matter neither is B-on-the-W).

Have I missed a devious setting which will reveal these and similar obstructions?

Are they purple? If so, that's a NOTAM. If you plot a route, then NOTAM will be obtained for that FIR and they will appear.

On the screen of a Nexus 7 they are indeed and appear even if you don't plot a route. But I'm wondering whether they're for the masts or for something else. There is an extant NOTAM for a crane near B-on-the-W although plotting a hypothetical route from Brize Norton to anywhere in the vicinity on the PC doesn't bring anything up on the chart.

For what it's worth the masts in question belong to the BBC and are shown on the quarter-mil as being 160 and 181ft AGL respectively.

So, in the PC version go to the NOTAM field and enable "Show on Map" = there they are.

Ah, that's done the trick -- many thanks. Easy when you know how ;-)
