Not listed as R,D,P, nor on paper maps, but very active on week days, TACTICAL AREAS VERY LOW LEVEL MILITARY FLIGHTS are listed under Italy AIP ENR 5.2.2.6-5  and I would like to see them on SkyDemon VFR maps .
Others flight planning software show these areas on their maps, so SD should do as well.
A close encounter with a fighter flying 350 Kn at 500 ft is not a pleasant view.

Hi Tim,
you can find these maps and details on Italian National AIP ENR 5.2.2.6 (attached).  Do not under estimate these dangers ! During week-end are not active, but from Monday till Friday a close encounter with Eurofighter is frequent especially on Toscana area and they fly very low and fast. ATC request radio contact and TXP ON.
Others planning software (GarminPilot, AirNav....) show these airspace on their maps.
Regards,
Gianni

AirNav do not have their own maps, they show scanned paper charts. Which paper charts on AirNav show these pieces of airspace, please?

What I am trying to find out from you, is if the airspace you're talking about is included in ICAO 500k paper charts for Italy.

I'm afraid Garmin doesn't count, and the free airspace data in AirNav certainly doesn't count.

Tim, I see your point.
The ENR 6.3 maps do not show those as well others' military dangers. The ENAV-ENAC answer is: everything that is written on the AIP should be considered even if not shown on maps. I agree, it's a stupid answer, but can you place on the air space layer ?
regards,
Gianni

No, not unless the authors of the popular paper ICAO charts in Italy also consider the areas important enough for inclusion.

If we depicted everything that's written about in AIPs, the maps would be unusable.
