Would it be possible to allow high terrain downloads per country / map? I find the 100NM radius model a bit odd and requiring swiping and further downloads - that's far from ideal even though I understand the principle.

I suppose that since AIP downloads per country are an option, so should this be - for those who have lots of storage free on their device and who want best possible accuracy. Also, switching between hires and normal fidelity terrain could be an useful option to increase app performance (for instance on approach).

The current solution should be regarded as an interim one, because we wanted to give people the option to turn it on in certain areas. Eventually I envisage high-res terrain will be automatically downloaded in the background for all areas that you are interested in (i.e. installed charts).

Glad to hear that Tim, I will patiently await this feature then - any ideas in which version will this be included?

None at all, I'm afraid. It depends on several underpinning systems being written, none of which are available yet.
