Hi

I use SD on variety of platforms - iPad2, Win 8.1 x64 PC and MacBook Air (Win 8.1 x64 under VMWare Fusion).
Sometimes I want/need to use SkyDemon Web but when I do that I don't see the airfield data, other than the ATZ circle. There is no airfield symbol or information. Nor do I see town names, road names etc. Strangely disused airfields are there, as are CTZ's.

It's almost like some layers missing.  This happens on both the Mac, using Safari or Firefox and also on the PC using IE...

I've looked for a setting somewhere to change but can't find anything - any ideas?

Apologies if this has been reported before but I couldn't find anything.

Leon

We updated that software this morning; could you try it again? You might have to clear your temporary internet files to ensure the old version is gone.

Hi Tim

No that hasn't fixed it on my Mac. Using Firefox and cleared all history..

I just tried it on my Windows 8.1 machine with IE11 and that is ok.

I'll keep investigating on the Mac

Is there a chance the old version could be cached on those machines where it's not working for you?

Hi Tim

Just checked the VMWare Win 8.1 with IE and that now seems to be working but native Mac OSX with Firefox is still showing same symptoms.

I turned Firebug on for Firefox and the console is reporting this error:

5 SyntaxError: unterminated string literal

throw new Error("Unhandled Error in Silverlight 2 Application [Arg_NullRefer

Here's a link to a screen shot of what I am seeing:

Is there any more detail on the error? Obviously it's encountering an error while trying to load the chart, but unless we know exactly what that error is and the details associated with it, there isn't much we can do about it.

The symptoms match something we have fixed, so I still suspect an old version has been cached somewhere.

I'm having the same issue. I log in to skydemon on MacBookPro using Safari and Silverlight and the chart is defective. Lack of detail. And when you click on it to drag the chart around you can't stop the chart from moving when you move the mouse. It's unusable like this

Sorry Tim - nothing else on the screen :-(

Looking at the post from deejayalchemea it looks like I'm not the only one...

Hey Mr Tim

What's this about caching old versions. Surely the end user (me) shouldn't have to worry about this sort of thing. I can't believe that your amazing software doesn't work on a Mac.

Do I REALLY have to use an inferior PC to access this planning software on a larger screen.

I'm currently using SD on my iPhone 6 and am extremely happy with it. However it would be great if I could do my flight planning on my MacBook
