I had a couple of crashes today with Skydemon Android 3.3.3.2.20289 on a Tesco Hudl 2 running Android 4.4.2.  I got the Android "program has stopped" error twice within 5 minutes near Detling.  I mention the location as on the return journey, with a different SkyDemon route, it crashed again at close to the same location!  Probably a coincidence.  I had the same version of Skydemon running the same routes on a Samsung Galaxy S3 in my pocket, which ran fine, so perhaps a Hudl or x86 issue.  Very smooth performance on the Hudl in all other respects - my first couple of flights today with SkyDemon - much impressed.

I posted this on the feedback form, but might be better here in case anyone else has an issue with the Hudl 2 or other Intel Atom Android tablet.  Back home I looked for crash logs, which I thought were in subfolders of /data, but I can't see in that folder (I don't have permission to view - the tablet isn't rooted).

If anyone knows where to find crash logs (if they exist) I'll take a look.

I phoned the office and they suggested trying the 3.4 beta, which I've installed, but I may not be airborne again for a week or so.

I'm sure our Hudl 2 was upgraded to Lollipop quite a while ago, so I think there must be updates available.

Thanks for that info, but I can't find any "official" source of Lollipop for the Hudl 2.  Did you get the update from Tesco or from another source of Intel chip Lollipop kernals such as https://github.com/android-ia for example?

I'll be happy to do any further tests on it if that helps, but I'd rather not do anything that voids the warranty (unnoficial upgrades or rooting it) while it's new and I might need to be able to take it back.  Later perhaps...  Poking around in DDMS from Android Studio or Eclipse I can't seem to see any more than I can from the device (e.g. with ES File Explorer) and I can't see anything that looks like crash dump files.
