Hello,
Using Skydemon on Android 4.4.4 (Galaxy S3).

When zooming in and out using the pinch gesture, once I finish the gesture, the map jumps to a different area. It's as if the map jumps to where the last finger touching the screen was. This doesn't happen in IOS.
Is this fixable?

Thanks

I have also noticed this behaviour on Android and it has been like this for many versions.

Yes, I've noticed this too, but it doesn't happen every time. I haven't mentioned it before because I just put it down to 'finger trouble'

Tim,

I can replicate this every time on both Nexus 7 and Android Phone (Oneplus One).:

Pinch zoom on map (in or out - it doesn't seem to matter) and then release just one finger. Hold for a short period and release second finger. Map then 'jumps' (pans) to an unexpected location. It looks as though the release of the second finger can cause an un-commanded pan operation.

Other apps (e.g. Google Maps) do not exhibit this behaviour.

In my case, I don't even need to hold one finger on after the pinch. All I have to do for the map to jump, is a normal pinch that, in IOS, sould result in a perfectly smooth zoom in or out. When airborn, it's very annoying.

Has this been acknowledged? It is very annoying to not have a map that moves exactly as commanded both zooming and panning. It's bad when on the ground, but in flight, it's a nightmare.

The OP concerned zooming. There is a known issue with pinch zooming on certain Android devices, because of the way Android handles mixed gestures (extremely poorly compared to iOS). Your latest post also mentions panning. Do you also have a problem when simply panning the map?

Android - 3.6.1.19137
Although I can occasionally replicate the pinch zoom issue on my Samsung Galaxy S3 I can't find any issue with panning.
If the map "moves away" I can simply press on the large arrow which depicts where my aircraft is, to re-centre the map.
