SD for Android (latest version):
Using the "keyboard" on my Nexus should I be able to create a route from airfield A to airfield B routing via VRP X?
That is, entering the VRP name into the "Route:" box?
Works okay if I enter airways reporting points and nav facilities but doesn't appear to recognise any VRP name.

No, VRPs are very informal and therefore not unique - sometimes even within the same country. That's why they're not valid on flightplan forms and they're also not valid when typing in a route, flightplan-style.

Thanks for the clarification.

I only queried this because in the user manual (p19) it states: "It's fine to just type a list of waypoints (including airfield ICAO identifiers)...."
