I am running the Win version of SkyDemon on an Oracle VM Virtual Box 4.3.8 Win Vista System. Until version 3.0.3 I had no problems but since then the setup.exe won't start anymore. Any ideas what I can do or any other users encountering similar problems?

Same problem here, being running SkyDemon in a W2K VirtualBox to allow me to access it on a Linux machine. Never had a problem with this before the latest SkyDemon update. Reverting back to the old Setup.exe file (version 3.2.1.0) still works ok however.

It's unlikely we would be able to help in the absence of any error message you might be getting.

Sorry Tim, should have made included more details, the Setup.exe completes the install without any apparent issue. When I attempt to launch SkyDemon from the desktop short cut I get the usual statement indicating SkyDemon is for VFR use and is not certified etc...click Yes to agree.. then get the "SkyDemon.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close" Details in the image attached

How strange. Unfortunately reading that message doesn't give me any idea what might be wrong. Obviously it's likely related to the operating system setup under which you're running SkyDemon, but I can't really guess any further than that.

No worries, version 3.2.1.0 still works without issue in VirtualBox for me, so I can still access my subscription.

I don't even get to the stage where I get an error message. The program is just not starting on double-click.

You could install the software on a different (working) machine and then copy the program files across?
