SkyDemon Mobile MD slowdown after update

Hi!
After six monthes of inactivity I had my chance to have a flight. So I got my SkyDemon Mobile Device and I connected it to my notebook to plan a route and to update the database.
After having conected it to my notebook I saw it updated also the software bringing it to v3.3.1
Well! Nice improvements since last update, but since this update I'm encountering problems:

1- I know that during first start up after update it could take more time, but it took quite 8 minutes. I tried to restart but from pushing the turn on button to have an operational device it takes quite twice the time before the update. But the problem is that quite often it freezes during start up and I've to turn it off and on again.

2- Before the update I was using "skydemon charts 2" style. Once operational I noticed that the style was different But I couldn't understand which one, cause the background map didn't appear. So I checked the map features and I noticed that the style was "Italian avioportolano". So I set up the "Skydemon charts 2" and once returned to map after over than 1 minutes map background appeared but wasn't the one I selected. So I started my notebook to check with the planning software which could be the differences:
After confrontation I discovered this:
by selecting in SkyDemon Mobile Device
-  "skydemon charts" -> I have "skydemon charts" = no problem here
-  "UK CAA VFR charts" -> this option is no more available on the device, while I have it on planning software
-  "French SIA VFR charts" -> I have the "UK CAA VFR charts" = this is a problem
-  " USA FAA Sectional VFR charts" -> I have a map background  from the "French SIA VFR charts"  and features I can't understand = this is a problem
-  " German DFS VFR charts" -> I have " USA FAA Sectional VFR charts" = this is a problem
-  "skydemon high contrast chart" -> I have a map background  from the "German DFS VFR charts" and features I can't understand = this is a problem
-  "skydemon charts 2" -> I have "skydemon high contrast chart" = this is a problem
-  "italian avioportolano VFR charts" -> I have "skydemon charts 2" = this is a problem

So you can understand that somerthing is going wrong.

3- the third problem is the one that makes me to tell that Skydemon Mobile Device is become UNUSABLE:
during the flight I experience a total loss of performance in the software. It became laggy, map didn't refresh causing me to fly for minutes before I could see the map on the screen after a turn or a pan view. This is unacceptable! Once map didn't appeared and I had to restart the device and wait quite 8 minutes.
When I tried to enter the menu it was  slow and some time it freezes making impossible to do something else. This caused me to restart the device!!!! ... and wait again quite 8 minutes before having it operational again. This is unacceptable!
It seems that software has become to heavy for the device,
So, I don't understand what you did with the part of software for your mobile device, but the facto, The Skydemon Mobile Device  is UNUSABLE.

We must assume this is a device-specific problem because the software version you mentioned has been out for a while, and many people are using it without such reported problems.
Please contact our support about your issue and they will be able to help you. The issue will probably not be related to a specific chart style, but may relate to the specific charts you have installed on your device.

Hi Tim!
Ok I'll write to support but I wish to tell you that I installed Skydemon on my Android smartphone, and I havo no such these issues.
So I think is something related to the Mobile Device version.

I don't think is something related to a particular style, because  all the chart style menu is mixed up; thare is no more corrispondence to what you select and what you'll have on the screen.

I agree the slowdown must be something to do with the Mobile device version, but also possibly your specific device as we haven't had reports from other Mobile users.
