Are you sure it's not just collapsing to the bottom of the screen? If so, just click on it to pop it up and you can pin it if you like.

Yes, you can open two flight logs at once in SkyDemon Plan. Just don't close the first one, and open the second one in the same way as you did the first one. You should then get two vertical profiles at the bottom of your screen, and both horizontal traces overlaid on the main map.

In the past I have been able to view multiple logs (i.e. multiple flights) at the same time in Map & Virtual radar.

I don't seem to be able to do this any more: Am I missing something, or is it no longer possible?.

My initial work-around attempt was to try and merge the flights into a single log, but that doesn't work as the merge fails because each flight has its own takeoff/landing.  

Trying to do this in Google Earth also fails even if I rename "SkyDemon Track Log" and save in "My Places"; if I open another log in GE the previous one is apparently overwritten and renamed back to "SkyDemon Track Log" (but still in "My Places", not "Temporary Places").

What I'm trying to do is show (ideally in SD, but GE an acceptable alternative) is a multi-leg, multi-day trip on the same map.
