I have entered all the fuel burn information in aircraft details but sky demon doesn't calculate the fuel required correctly in pilot log when a route is entered. Any ideas how to correct this?

SD provides a breakdown of the fuel needed during the Planning stage.  Open the Flight Details window and click on the "+" beside FUEL Required.  You should the see a breakdown of fuel needed for taxi, takeoff, en-route etc

Thanks for that. I have edited the aircraft section and then checked the result of planned route.
What I don't understand is how the cruise section of flight details comes out with 13.3 litres for a 46 min flight at 12.5 litres/ hour?
Strange.

This is strange indeed.  SD produces the correct fuel consumption for me.  Try creating a route that will take exactly 1 Hr ad see what SD calculates.

Maybe the climb portion, as part of the cruise leg, has a higher fuel burn. Therefore, the overall fuel burn along the cruise leg is higher than when simply cruising at altitude. After all, you are burning more fuel to get there.

SkyDemon's flight modelling is more complex than multiplying your journey time by fuel consumed per hour. It models all your climbs and descents as well as the cruise, taking the wind into account, and the fuel consumed depends upon all these factors.

I've adjusted the throttle setting/fuel burn and this has brought the figures produced in line with what I would expect.
It's a bit confusing because you have to enter the fuel/ hour consumption so in so many sections.
All is good now, thanks for the comments.
