Rendering of large and complex PDFs on Android is slow. That is not related to the issue being discussed here.

Ok, I see. Since my primary navigation device is the iPad, it is not an issue (at least for me).

To render only one step at time is an idea... Is it possible to control those rendering tasks and abort them, whenever a new operation would be pending?! E.g.: 1. Zoom... 2. Move... 1. Is not finished, therefore abort (1.) and process the move task and then complete the rendering of this step?!

Thank you, for looking into this issue!

Markus

PS: Rendering complex PDFs (non rotated and scaled) with Acrobat Reader under Android is quite fast...

There is no method to abort a PDF rendering task in the Quartz API. I think queuing them will help.

Did you implement the queuing in the new 3.2.1 version?
I couldn't get it to crash anymore - and did not notice any lags when zooming/panning.

So: BRAVISSIMO :-)
