Can Direct to show actual bearing rather than rough compass point?

One of the useful things about the Garmin 192 Nearest  button is that you can quickly get a bearing and therefore a radial and distance to nearby airports when asked by ATC for this information. (Not much radar in Africa!)
In this respect would it be possible to change Sky Demon's "Direct to" to show the actual bearing rather than points of the compass?

I agree with Steve.  When I use the 'Direct To' feature, I want to see the bearing to my new waypoint clearly displayed. It is true that the bearing is displayed near the compass rose but the figures are tiny - I need to put on glasses to read the information. The bearing needs to be included as an option in the Instruments menu so that it may be displayed in big numbers at the top of the screen along with GS etc.

I and others have requested this (see earlier posts under 'Where's the Bearing') but SD refuses to entertain the idea despite the fact that every other GPS ever made has this most basic of features.
