Just upgraded to iOS 8.1 and playing around with skydemon I planned a direct flight from Liverpool to Hawarden. I noticed when I tap the AFE plate for Hawarden ( which opens correctly ) then tap to open the AFE plate for Liverpool, Skydemon immediately closes and returns to my iPad home screen. When you then open Skydemon again the planned route has disappeared ?

We have tried to reproduce this issue on iOS 8.1 but without any success. Is there anything unusual about your setup?

I haven't any unusual setup, last night I uninstalled Skydemon then re installed it again along with AFE plates and I still have the same problem. I've tried other airfields and cannot re create the same problem, maybe I have some 'bug' to do with the Liverpool plate. I might when I have time re initialise my whole iPad and see if that cures it, thanks for getting back.

Ok. If you do have time, it would be good if you could give us a precise list of steps to follow from a clean installation of SkyDemon, after you've started it for the first time and switched on the UK chart. We can then follow them ourselves on our iPad with iOS 8.1 just to make sure we're not seeing the same thing.

Just done a factory reset on my iPad and have a fresh install of iOS 8.1, I then re installed Skydemon along with UK, Ireland and French charts and the AFE flight guide, I then plotted the route mentioned then opened Hawarden plate then Liverpools, problem solved, that was until I downloaded the UK AIP when the problem returned. So this bug centres around the UK AIP, I will just have to be aware of this as it appears to only affect EGGP as far as I'm aware. Also noticed that this problem only seems to occur when this route plotted soon as Skydemon is opened.

Again we have tried to reproduce this using your more detailed steps, and unfortunately haven't got anywhere. If you contact us via customer support we can identify your account and see if we have any crash reports from you, which might help.

I've just tried it exactly as OP stated immediately after opening SD  on ipad mini with ios 8.1 and I can't reproduce the problem.
