Folks,

Now starting to plan a much overdue visit to the Emerald Isle (Ireland).

A few questions for other members and for the SkyDemon Team if I may:

1. Filing flight plans via SkyDemon in Ireland: These are required for most VFR flights whilst in Ireland, so if I file a flight plan via SkyDemon, will it automatically go to the requisite authorities in Ireland and Northern Ireland? (Note I will be flying also from Ireland to Northern Ireland and back to Ireland).

2. Same question as above for online GAR submission

3. On the subject of GAR's - will the submission of the online GAR also meet the requirements to notify Special Branch (under the anti-terrorism regulations)?

Any other paperwork stuff / tips / hints would be most welcome.

Initial thoughts are:

1. Balckbushe to Waterford DCT.
2. Hire a car and enjoy Ireland for a few days
3. Waterford to City of Derry Airport - hire car etc.
4. City of Derry Airport to Waterford to Blackbushe (but may change the return to Waterford to somewhere a bit more west in the Island).

Any help much appreciated (including recommendations of places to visit).

Tim, everything else regarding flight plans and GARs with Skydemon works so well, why not this?

I'm in the Republic of Ireland and flying into N. Ireland, which is in the UK, but Skydemon does not give me the option of submitting a GAR even though one is required and, indeed, can be filed with OnlineGAR.

Why not? You must have your reasons. Can you share them with us?
