I've been using the iPad version for a little more than a month now and am generally very impressed. There is one thing I can't find though: is there a way to see the Actual Time of Departure after take-off? It's not in the live PLOG (only times over route waypoints). Obviously I can find it in the flight log after landing, but it would be nice to see it while still airborne.

No, I don't think there is any such feature currently.

This gets my support. When opening a filed flight plan with an en-route FIS (i.e. when departure airfield has no ATC) the ATD is required. This ATD info could be recorded at the same point that flight logging starts?

Please can we also have the live PLOG on Android implemented?

I agree. Either "actual time of departure" or "time elapsed since start" would be fine (I heard there was a timer counting the flight time, but this apparently has gone  with the actual ipad version.

I prefer the time elapsed since this is a security feature (fuel calculation etc.).

Where do you think all these readings should go?

On the Ipad: in a row with ETA/ETE, GS, Track, Wind. If space does not permit this, the user might be allowed to select x instruments out of y

Alternative: ONE click from the main flight screen. Eg visible in the menue under the left upper SD-logo button.

I would like to see the time of departure in the flight details - takeoff field automatically first (Android version) Right now I have to fill in the ATD manually, after that it is on the top left corner of the pilots log together with all the waypoints ETA's. Toggeling between ATA/ETE nxt/ ATD would be a nice idea though, but not in an additional field.

I agree this sounds useful, but trying to shoehorn it into the existing Time instrument doesn't fit very well (we just prototyped it).
I think it would be better integrated into the future enhanced "live PLOG" that we want to work on this Autumn, which would show all such statistics and also include elapsed flight time. The instrument strip isn't really designed for a static reading such as this.
