SD - I would think this must be very easy to fix.

Sorry, we don't think it is broken. We will reconsider if a lot of people agree with you, but the way airfields are selected at many different zoom levels has evolved over years and has been stable without any other complaint for a long time.

But don't you agree that you loose overview when zooming out?

These days I am planning my first long trip with SD across my neightbour country Sweden where I don't know all the airfields. It is really frustrating - I have to zoom far in to have the air fields show up, but then I can't see where they are located in the larger picture. I ended up using Air Navigation Pro (which I used before I purchased SD about one month ago) for planning which airfields to visit between departure and destination airport. I noticed the airfield names and then used SD for further details.

I must say again that this is really FRUSTRATING. Especially since it should be so easy to improve. There must be a parameter in the software defining at which zoom level airfields and airspaces should be hidden. It is simply a question of allowing the user to define the value of this parameter. I know people saying the same. Everybody must appreciate such a feature. Since I have used ANP until now, I clearily see features I appreciated in ANP when they are missing in SD. This thing here is the most serious one.

Sorry, we do not change such fundamental aspects of our software unless there is an overwhelming number of users telling us that the current behaviour is broken. And by that I mean unsolicited feedback. I can tell you that there has been no such feedback in recent years.

Yes, other products behave differently. We do not attempt to emulate them (usually the opposite is true) and expect people to use whichever works best for them.

It sounds like the best thing to do might be to do your planning on a PC with a large screen.
