I would be interested to hear from iPad mini users with Skydemon installed for navigation purposes, as to which external GPS device they are using and what they think of it. I am aware that an internal GPS is available on some iPad mini models, but this appears to require a data plan and needs to use mobile phone technology to locate its position rather than being a pure GPS, so is not ideal for cockpit use.
