Hi

Why are some AIP aerodrome charts available as a georeference overlay and some not?

I've not axe to grind, just curious.

Many thanks

It depends upon what map projection they use, and whether that projection is compatible with the main SkyDemon map.

I am just testing SD, and I would like to know the list of georeferenced plates in France.

Another issue, in the trial version I am testing, in simulation, when I want to look at a plate, it is opened with Acrobat and I don't find the way to go back to SD. Using the back button, Acrobat is closed, it comes back to SD but I have lost my (virtual) position and the route. Is this normal ? I didn't test it yet flying.

Another question, I cannot find the Dynamic Airfield Plates for French airfields. I use a Samsung GT 7.7 tablet. It just does not appear in the context menu as it is explained in your documentation. The menu does not have the option. Is it because I use the trial version ? is this feature not included in the Android version ? Using the PC version in simulation mode, this information appears. I find this feature great. Does it exist in the full Android version?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

SkyDemon for Android does not have georeferenced plates. It is likely that it will get this feature in a future version.

No, going into Acrobat then pressing Back to get back to SkyDemon should not result in SkyDemon being restarted. I would only expect that to happen if your device did not have enough memory to handle both SkyDemon and Acrobat running at once.

Correct, if I close everything before starting SD, it does not crash. Anyway, the route disappears, both in simulation or in planning mode. The same happens with the pilot log, and this is a problem, as well as the approach information. I hope these issues will be soon included in the next Android version.
