After updating to V2.6.0.0 in ATS mode there is a large red cross on the chart and I lose airfields, waypoints and various other features. Zooming in/out sometimes also causes and "unhandled exception".
It does not occur in VFR mode.
The area affected seems to lie within the 51.5N to 53.0N lat. North or South of this band is, as far as I can tell, drawing normally.
This problem is
not
occurring on the iPad.

We saw this issue once during testing and the problem was a corrupted chart. Could you try removing the chart in question then reinstalling it, to see if that helps?

Tim,
I'm seeing this issue on the iPad version, only on the ATS Routes view.
The red cross and loss of details only appears in the Midlands area of the UK, and at scales at 1:750,000 and larger.
I also have the problem of a sustained press on the chart area crashing the app instead of offering a create waypoint pop-up, again only on the ATS Routes view. This seems to happen at all scales, and anywhere on the chart.
I've unloaded/reloaded the UK chart but it doesn't seem to resolve it.
I haven't seen an issue with the PC version though.
EDITED TO ADD:
I've resolved all the above problems by completely uninstalling/reinstalling the app. A bit of a nuisance losing all the settings, but it does clear up the issues.
Tim, how about a 'save all my config settings to the cloud' option?

Ok Tim...success!
It was a case of unloading
all
of the charts and reloading them. I started first with the UK and will add others gradually. So thanks for the steer.
