Got it! thanks! Once I opened the log, I clicked on the virtual radar view at the bottom of the screen and the export option became available. Thanks everyone for your patience.

Hi nje, yes that is the sequence of actions I have been doing, it is just for some reason the export option stays greyed out. Most frustrating.
You need to open the flight log window and click on it to make it the 'active' log and then the export option should be available.

Tony- When in SD Plan go to Analysis > Open flight log from library. Then choose a log and click on it.
Once you route is displayed on screen, go back to Analysis and then Export log to file should be available.
All this is assuming you have synced your device and you have some logs available to view

Hi tonyhs,
I forgot to mention that my hint was for SD for Ipad! On Ipad you can select the Log (menu "Logs") and then select "Send by email"...
Sorry

I cannot get the export option to highlight at all, I must be doing something wrong. Oh well, it was worth a try.

Tony, sorry I should have said, open the log in sd first then go to analysis and the 'export' option will be accessible

Hi tonyhs,
You can send the log via email, the mail will contain two attachments: .flighplan (SD proprietary format) and .gpx.
You can load the gpx file into GE.
Regards
Nils
Hi Nils, I cannot find this option, where is it in the menu?
Thanks
Tony

Hi nje,
I load in the log and it displays as a blue line and all the correct details for the flight. However, in the Analysis menu the 'Export Log to File' is greyed out. Is there something else I should be doing, other than just using the 'Open Flight log from library' option?
