A bug I spotted having created some custom waypoints, which happen to be all capitalised:



When searching for a VRP, a search will return nothing if ALL the characters are capitalised. Make ANY one of the characters lower-case, and the search returns the correct result.



eg: Bournmouth VRP 'Sandbanks'.

SANDBANKS fails.

Sandbanks works.

SaNDBANKS works!

This is actually by design. If you search in ALL CAPITALS SkyAngel performs a quick identifier search, rather than the comparatively slower fuzzy search. This is great for quickly locating an airport or radio aid by its ident without getting lots of other, irrelevant results.

Ah-ha! And hence why it doesn't fail on everything else I tried (DTY, EGBE, SAPCO....).

Quite a good idea!



How about a half-way house though? Where, IF you search in caps, identifiers are returned first?

Or perhaps, returned results are case sensitive - then all identifiers would be listed first anyway.
