Something I have noticed before is that if you plan a route, leave SD running on your PC, say, overnight and then plan another route (even if you set takeoff time and then move the sliders as well re time or height), the weather is not necessarily (maybe never not sure) automatically downloaded.

Is there a way of forcing a wx download? If not I believe there should be.

Weather is downloaded periodically, and for the 2.3.2 release we have been able to increase the frequency of this.
