Had a Skydemon workshop with about 30 present (dont worry plenty of socialising after).

However discovered something that had never surfaced before and it was a bit of a pain.

Session was held in an old church (now village hall) and the thick walls meant no GPS fix. It turns out that the facility to click the screen and bring up info is disabled until there is a GPS fix. Once I got in the car and had a fix then all the "click" functionality returned. Think it should always be available -- cannot think of a reason to tun it off.

I don't understand what you're saying, could you elaborate?

It sounds like you're saying that the map context menu isn't available while there isn't a fix, but I do not believe that to be the case.

Menus are available by tapping on SC logo. Can load a saved route etc.

BUT you cannot tap and hold an airfield to bring up its infornation - or T&H any other point on the screen to show relevant RT frequency, wx, notam or insert a waypoint between two points of a leg. The Tap & Hold finctionality is lost if no fix.

We can't reproduce this on either version 2.2.1 or the recently-released 2.3. We've got a Mobile MD sitting here with no fix, and we can bring up the context menu and inspect items as we'd expect. Can anyone else reproduce what David is seeing?

I spoke to Rob in the office and he did reproduce it.

I confirm that David was actually talking about "with the GPS turned off" rather than "with no fix" and I believe the issue has been resolved ready for the next release.
