Hello Steinar, if you have any correspondence with the people who run that website perhaps you could make introductions. We are generally happy to merge existing databases of smaller non-AIP strips with the SkyDemon database as that helps everybody.

Yes, I can understand this is tedious work then. As you probably already know - ippc.no is the official planning tool containing AIP and airport descriptions. Smaller fields are not available here, though.

There is another site, however I cannot tell if it is verified or not, and all Norwegian - but there is a lot of information there and could be a good starting point for gathering information: http://www.norskeflyplasser.no/

Hi Steinardo,

It is true that although we have several small airfiled, there is some information that is missing. Its one of the problems with not having a central database of small strips, and SkyDemon are aiming long term to have the definitive database. I am personally working on the UK, and slowly calling all the owners of these strips.

If you know of a public access verified source of this information for norway, then we would be interested to hear it, and also to have local support is excellent in these endeavours.

Also, it is not a bug that there is no turning point on the alternate leg, but I will make a note to have a discussion about it when we are deciding the features for the next version.

I'm new to SkyDemon and I must say I'm very impressed with what I've seen the last few days. I fly mainly in Norway, and it appears that although many small fields are present, some information like altitude and runways are missing. Something we locals can do to help on that one?

Also - seems like it is not possible to add a turning point on the alternate leg - is this a bug?
