When running the simulator on a PC I see a scale in the bottom left hand corner of the display, a horizontal line with a short vertical bar at either end and text aong the lines of "5.0 nm, 1:160000". On the actual device (a SkyDemon MD) this is not displayed. Can anyone tell me why? I've gone through all the settings I can find. I know I can change the trajectory bar from minutes to miles to get a sort of scale, but I would prefer this set to minutes but still to be able to see a scale as I zoom in and out, as on the simulator.

This isn't currently part of the MD featureset, but we will consider adding it if it becomes clear lots of people think it's necessary.

Tim - I understand but I'm surprised - I would have thought it was pretty important to be able to see the scale of a chart, especially one which you can zoom in and out of. My junior school geography teacher would have rapped me over the knuckles if I drew a map without a scale!

OK but you can turn on a line from the plane that is calibrated in 2, 5 & 10 scales of either distance or time.

Plus of course you have both time & distance to next waypoint.

Is that sufficient?

My point is that I find the trajectory line very useful when set to time rather than distance, and would still prefer to see a simple distance scale somewhere. Exactly as displayed when running on a PC would be fine. It's not the end of the world I know, but seems such an easy win. Does anyone else have any comments on this?
