Dear Tim,
On the SkyDemon MD with SkyDemon 2.1.1.21617 installed on the PC and subsequent snychronisation with the MD, the screen rotation does not function correctly (same with the previous 2.1.0 version).
Although the screen does rotate, the right part, about a third, remains black. The touchscreen buttons do not correspond to the actual location on the hardware screen. The only chance to rotate back is to fiddle around trying to locate the position on the screen which triggers the call-up of the menu, then to scroll down to Settings, then to search blindly on the screen where the lower menu level sits with the option to select "Rotate Screen".
Device ID is xxx. Haven't tried the RESET button on the back - when in normal horizontal mode, everything is fine again.
