If you look at the AFE Flight Guide you will see 22/04 listed as 975 metres .

Just checked Pooleys, they show 04/22 as 775m and 17/35 as 785M so that explains it.

04/22 is the longest runway by almost 200M

So I guess if that data was corrected, the problem would sort itself out anyway?

Hmm... having said that, there is a 'starter' extension that could be skewing things. What does the Pooley's plate look like?

Hi Steve,

You raise an interesting point here, and I have chatted to tim about how the logic works. It seems that we can only draw multiple runways if we know the threshold co-ordinates. Otherwise we simply draw the longest runway. Normally this avoids confusion but in this case it is not ideal...

I cant see the thresholds on the website, and suspect that they haven't been measured. Are you aware of anything to the contrary?

Hi

Nice to see Oaksey Park has an airfield plate now. I do have one observation though.

Only Runway 17/35 appears on the graphical airfield plate and the zoomed in map view. This runway is very rarely used, and probably accounts for about 1% of all movements. It's also unidirectional (17 take off and 35 landing). All the above information is in the text description, but it would make more sense for the 'main' runway 04/22 to be the one visually depicted.

Regards,

Steve
