Hello, dear community

in the interest of transparency: I'm part of the SD-Link team, so this is the manufacturer of the adapter replying. Sorry that this thread went unanswered for so long.

Customers with the same combination also confirmed to us in August that it works. So we don't see a general change in SkyDemon 4.3 that stops frequencies from reaching the ATR833.

If tapping a frequency only shows which station it belongs to, SkyDemon is usually not sending at all. What helps most often:

1. Frequencies are sent while flying: activate a route and start "Go Flying" (or the simulator mode). Without that, SkyDemon may only show the station.

2. After an update, delete the adapter in SkyDemon under Setup > Connectivity and add it again there, not in the iPad's Bluetooth settings. Then choose Connected Device Type "Radio", Radio Type "Funke ATR833" and the Radio Frequency Slot (Standby or Active), and save.

Step-by-step checklist: sdlink.de/en/skydemon-frequenz-wird-nicht-uebertragen

If it still doesn't work after that, please write to info@sdlink.de with your SkyDemon version and your iPad model, and we'll look into it with you.

Cheers
Michael

Good afternoon,
I have the same problem since end of last June with a Funke 833 and a module I have built.
When testing the output of the system, the data flow is correct.
When sending data from SD, the bell rings and the message telling the frequency sent is displayed.
Maybe we have a problem with the configuration of the tablet?

Dan.

We used this great feature to send radio frequencies from the SD nav-display to the radio by using a BT connection between the iPad (runs SD) and our radio (ATR-33) using an SD-Link dongle now since almost 2 years. We really appreciate this feature as it reduces head down time by a significant amount.
Now, since about 2 weeks, this isn't working anymore. Touching a frequency in SD, just a short info appears on the screen what station this frequency belongs to. That's it.
A quick check to find the possible reason didn't turn out anything - the hardware connection between radio and dongle is secure, BT on the iPad is ON and the connection within SD and the SD-Link seems to be established, as it appears in the SD Settings/Connectivity/BT-Devices. However, we renewed this connection, but to no avail.
Funny though, that this failure introduced itself after we upgraded to SD Version 4.3.0.

Anybody any ideas?
