Yesterday evening I was planning on my Android 6 tablet and all was ok.
This morning the tablet auto updated to this new version.
Now SKYDEMON is useless. It remains frozen with the rotating logo and nothing happens.
I uninstalled and reinstalled. The first time it opens, but I can't insert custom waypoints, custom aircrafts... I have no meteo and notam updates.
Once closed and reopened, it remains frozen....

If your Android version is that old I suspect it's incompatibility. I'm running two Samsung A7 Lites on Android 14 and they have no issues with the latest update. 

As stated, contact SD directly for help but maybe it's time to upgrade.

FWIW Android 6 "Marshmallow" is from 2015, so leaving auto-update off for mission-critical pieces of software that are currently developed on newer OSes is paramount!
If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to get an APK from the customer service for an earlier version of SD for you to manually install. But as others have stated, maybe it's time for an upgrade.
On this note, kudos to SkyDemon for supporting older OSes for such a long time.
