SE2 wifi and mobile internet on Android device?

P Group: Forum Members Posts: 2, Visits: 0	Probably been discussed before but I can't find anything on it so, I've been using SE2 with Sky Demon for a while now and run it on a Samsung Tab A tablet with sim card. However there seems to be no way of obtaining in flight weather or other data in flight as the device sees no internet when connected to the SE2. Does anyone know if there is a way to make Android use mobile data as well as WiFi at the same time?

Group: Forum Members Posts: 326, Visits: 2.3K	PilotBob, This may or may not be helpful... I run SkyDemon on my Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone which also connects to my SE2 via WIFI. I have no issue with receiving cell phone data and do get real time updates to SkyDemon while flying. Tony

Group: Forum Members Posts: 326, Visits: 2.3K	Pilotbob, I don't know if this helps you or not but I run SkyDemon on a Galaxy S8 Smartphone and also have a SE2. I get cell phone data without any difficulty so am seeing realtime updates of weather, wind aloft and METARS etc. Tony
