(This is a free and open source Android System) thank you! I don't see why it wouldn't. I am running SD very happily using Cyanogenmod12 on a Google Nexus 7 (2012). I found that NOT installing Google Play gives a huge performance improvement on older devices. It means you have to download and install all your APKs manually but that's no big deal. Thank you very much, I am not yet experienced with that. Therefore this info is very useful!
