A useful function, to teach pilots how to use Skydemon, is the SIMULATE, but would be possible to stop the fly and start again where was stopped ?
Apparently if I stop the simulation with "Stop Navigating"   in a particular point along the fly trace, is not possible to start again from that point, but only from the beginning.
Could your expert can modify the SIMULATE adding a STOP and START option ?

You can drag the aircraft symbol to anywhere on the chart, and vertically on the ‘virtual radar’ view so if you do stop navigating, you can position the aircraft back to where it was when you stopped quite quickly.

Not ideally what you want but a usable workaround.
