Regarding the circuit. I have a suggestion regarding having access to aerial photography: would it be possible to have access to aerial photography while in flight ?
The idea is that it is much easier to assess where you have to turn when you know on what ground feature you should look for instead of trying to follow your position on the map (seems to me it is better to look outside than on the map in the circuit :-) )
This would require to load the aerial photography of your departure and arrival aerodrome of your route.

Another question. Post-flight it would be great to be able to review track log path over aerial photography.
It is true that you can see it in Google Earth (cfr answer to similar tread http://forums.skydemon.aero/Topic29004.aspx) but you miss all the aeronautical information. Such feature would be great to assess how correct you flew the circuit or how you actually flew vs your planned route. I think this as added value which can not be provided via Google Earth.

Comments and suggestions are welcome :-)

I don't think this is a good idea. Looking at an aerial photograph, understanding and processing the huge visible data size occupies a vast amount of recognition better spent looking out of the window.

Well I think we do not agree. For some complex circuits (to avoid noise sensitive areas), I think it make more sense to have a glance at the aerial photography where the circuit is depicted to see "ah I have to turn 45° left approximately at the big white building" and look outside for it instead of trying to follow on the moving map where you are and to look inside.
