I am gaining more and more experience with the Traffic Alert feature in SkyDemon. It works like a charm!

Like me, I am seeing many pilots start using 2 tablets. In my case:

- A standard iPad for the normal navigational tasks (routing, terrain, fuel, What-is-here, weather...). For me "North Up", and constantly changing zoom level, etc.
- An iPad mini mounted in line of sight, for Traffic only: Track up, fixed zoom, decluttered map; enlarged Traffic Radar window.

In this context it would be very useful if the "look ahead" function could be switched off. In flight, SD seems to alway "look ahead" (i.e., put the aircraft symbol at the corner of the screen, in order to create more map space in front of the aircraft symbol in the direction of flight). This behaviour is even more pronounced in "Track Up" mode than in "North Up" mode.

While "looking ahead" is useful in most navigational circumstances, it is undesirable for Traffic awareness. I want my own aircraft always to be dead centre on the  screen used for Traffic display, both on map as well as on the Traffic Radar.

--> Please consider making "Look Ahead" an optional feature in the map settings, for example within the "Moving Map" settings.
