I have just downloaded the latest release 0.9.13 and have been testing it in the car. However all I get is a blank blue screen. The cursor showing my direction of travel and speed is working. It would appear that the map is not loading.



Any ideas why pls?

Johnm, I have the same problem on a Navigo V2 4.3" screen running .9.13.

When starting InFlight whilst connected to the computer, no map shows. I turn off the Navigo, restart without computer connected, & all is OK.

Try starting SkyDemon InFlight before connecting to the car power supply & see if that allows it to load?

I am using a Binatone D430. It is not connected to a computer or to an external power supply. If you are having probs also it would appear that there is a problem with the latest release.

The only thing I can think of is for you to check the date and time settings on the device.

I have checked the date and time and they are fine. It is obviously a problem with my hardware.

This has not occurred on previous releases. Any chance you could offer the older releases in the download section for those of us who can't use the latest release?

I can't put the beta releases back up, no. If you'd like to email me (link at the bottom of the homepage) I could send you a could of test builds to try and get to the bottom of why your device wouldn't load the data.

Well did we manage to sort this problem? Those of us experiencing similar difficulties would like to know what the possible fixes are!

The issue that this post was referring to was fixed before the final release of the software. I consider this issue, and the thread, closed. However if you're experiencing identical symptoms please get in touch and we can look in to it.

The Binatone will not save the time and date. You can set it but it is lost as soon as you switch off and reverts on my D430 to a date in 2007.
