First of all the program is amazing and very helpful in flight planning and navigating. Money well spent!

Is it possible to somehow do a local flight plan for flying just the traffic pattern for example? It would be nice if the program could calculate fuel consumption etc. if one creates a flight plan for example for 1 hour to do touch-and-go's.

We can't really calculate fuel consumption unless we know what you're doing. We can give you the weather and NOTAM information for a local fight without any specified waypoints, but as Shifu says, you'll need to put some waypoints in if you want headings and fuel consumption etc.
