I use a separate app (AeroWeather) that gives more flexibility on displaying METARs and TAFs, and also calculates the DA based on the latest numbers.

I know this app and I use it too because SD is unable. But I just think it would be more handy to have everything at one place - in SD.

Best wishes,
Alex

I would also like to see the current DA of each aerodrome in the airport tab. Please include this feature.

Without mentioning it, this feature has been included for many aerodromes on the airport information page, thank you very much!

At the moment it's only included for larger airfields. Will it come for all places?

Nice feature, I also didn’t realize it! :-)

How can I check if the displayed DA is based on the latest QNH and temperature or if it is outdated?.

(for good reasons, all meteorological data usually do have time stamps)

You'll only see density altitude calculated where the airfield has issued a METAR containing wind and temperature information. You can check the date of the latest METAR that SkyDemon has by going to the METAR section for the airfield.

Hi Tim,
for LOWZ or EDMK Metars are issued, but I don't find the density altitude under the Landing-Information-Tab.
at  LOWI density altitude is provided.

Why?

There doesn't appear to be any pressure information in the current METAR for LOWZ.

Thanks for this feature! I would find it more intuitive to see it with the metars directly.
